An Occupational Therapist position is available in St John's Wood, central London, starting ASAP.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00, and is classified as Band 6.
Candidates should have experience in Acute Brain Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Rehabilitation, and Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness.
The ideal applicant must be able to conduct thorough assessments, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and handle complex neurological therapy cases.
Good communication skills and a solid understanding of the interplay between physical, cognitive, psychological, and social dimensions of illness are essential.

Occupational Therapist to start ASAP

- Monday to Friday (full time, 5 days)

- 09:00 to 17:00

- Band 6

Skills/Experience required:

- Experience working with Acute Brain Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Rehabilitation and Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness.

- Able to complete thorough initial assessments and work collaboratively with MDT.

- Confident with treatment of complex and specialist cases within field of neurological therapy.

- Good understanding of relationship between physical, cognitive, psychological and social dimensions of illness. Knowledge of current legislation.

- Ability to conduct appropriate Risk Assessments as needed.

- Good communication skills.
