A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic team in South West London. This role will involve working with students in schools, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and sensory needs. The successful candidate will be able to work flexibly, choosing to work between 2 to 5 days per week.
Location: South West London
Pay: Up to £35 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: 2-5 days per week (flexible hours available)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children with ASD and sensory needs.
- Work closely with school staff to create individualized support plans for students.
- Deliver therapeutic activities to improve students' sensory processing, fine motor skills, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Support the development of sensory-friendly environments in schools.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with ASD and sensory processing difficulties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A passion for paediatric occupational therapy and making a positive impact on children’s lives.
