Job Overview:We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the acute medical team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients in acute medical settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Facilitate timely discharge planning by supporting patient recovery and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with NHS standards.
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of previous acute medical experience.
  • Previous experience within the NHS.
  • Experienced Occupational Therapist ready to excel in an acute medical setting.
  • Be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
