Job Overview:We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the acute medical team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients in acute medical settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Facilitate timely discharge planning by supporting patient recovery and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with NHS standards.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of previous acute medical experience.
- Previous experience within the NHS.
- Experienced Occupational Therapist ready to excel in an acute medical setting.
