Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Team at Whittington Centre, Streatham. This role focuses on delivering specialist rehab interventions to elderly patients with cognitive and physical difficulties, supporting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions for patients with complex needs.
  • Work autonomously in the community, supporting patients with rehabilitation plans tailored to their specific conditions.
  • Manage complex manual handling cases and deliver high-quality therapy to improve patients' mobility and daily functioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and support for elderly patients.
Requirements
  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with relevant qualifications.
  • Community rehabilitation experience and strong background in elderly care.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make independent clinical decisions.
  • Excellent assessment and rehabilitation skills for patients with cognitive and physical difficulties.
  • Experience handling complex manual handling cases in a community setting.
