Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our clients Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy Team. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality health and social care services to the local community. If you have a minimum of one year of experience in adult social care and a background in assessing for minor equipment and adaptations, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of individuals with varied and complex needs, ensuring comprehensive and personalised care.
- Conduct assessments for minor equipment and adaptations, including level access showers and stairlifts.
- Lead coordination of care and support for users, involving their carers/families and other professionals as needed.
- Ensure accurate and thorough input of information for monitoring and planning purposes.
- Strive to provide an efficient and cost-effective health and social care service, utilising appropriate resources from Social Services, Health, the Council, the community, and other non-statutory organisations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working within adult social care.
- Proven experience in assessing for minor equipment and adaptations.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to service users, carers, and their families.
