School in North West London looking to recruit a Senior Children's Occupational Therapist to join an exciting team with new opportunities. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.

Main Duties for the Children's Occupational Therapist includes.

  • To provide a Specialist Occupational Therapy Service for children/young people who have Learnding disabilities ages 5- 11.
  • To assess the needs of disabled children/young people.
  • Are you a Paediatric OT who has experience in ASD?
  • The role has a small and manageable caseload (5-10 Children).
  • This is a great opportunity to grow within a leadership role.
  • The role is 3-5 Days a week.
  • To provide a specialist responseand implementing intervention plans aimed at reducing the impact of disability.
  • To give evidenced consideration to the voice of the child/young person and their families.
  • An awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity & respect when dealing with people.

To Be Successful.

  • Previous experience working as an Children's Occupational Therapist.
  • Must have experience in a school setting.
  • The candidate must have experience in training carers/families.
  • Must be able to hit the ground running and doesn't need upskilling.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification
