We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer specialising in printer repair and maintenance to join a UK Service Delivery team. This role is pivotal in achieving customer satisfaction through effective installation, repair, removal, relocation, and modification of equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring these tasks are completed efficiently, meeting both cost and productivity targets.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Productivity:

    • Utilise communication and analytical skills to diagnose and repair faults accurately.
    • Complete preventative maintenance schedules to prevent future occurrences and predicted failures.
    • Install equipment and, when necessary, train customers to operate it effectively.
  • Business Controls:

    • Maintain parts, manuals, and tools to an auditable standard to match business needs and minimise return visits.
  • Customer Satisfaction:

    • Ensure effective communication to guarantee customer satisfaction with the resolution of problems or planned actions.
    • Escalate non-service problems to the appropriate department in a timely manner and complete the customer complaint procedure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, specifically in printer repair and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
