Role Overview:

To provide effective and efficient administration support for taxi and private hire driver, operator and vehicle licensing functions within the department. Taking proactive action to resolve project operational issues and incidents and escalating them to the relevant manager where appropriate.

Key Information:

  • Hourly Rate: £14.72 per hour
  • Location: Stratford, London (fully office based)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full Time (Monday - Friday)
  • Contract Duration: 3 months (view to extend)

Role Overview:

  • Anticipating and taking effective action to avoid emerging delivery issues, identifying constraints and blockers, providing recommendations and escalating in a timely manner
  • Taking ownership of safety and wellbeing for self and team and challenging poor safety behaviour in others
  • Provide a customer-focused, pragmatic and reasonable approach in all dealing with internal and external stakeholders, seeking to reach amicable resolution to identified issues and avoiding the need for further activity or legal action
  • Assist in the transitioning and implementation of operational processes and policies required to monitor compliance with relevant regulations and/or Terms and Conditions, ensuring that there are effective business rules in place to manage these
  • Ensure all operational processes  are administered fairly and effectively in line with relevant policy, contractual and legislative requirements
  • Support the matrix project team in making service delivery related policy decisions and assist in the transitioning and implementation of operational processes and policy required to monitor
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing of the LARA system
