Our client, a renowned charity, is looking to take on an Office Administrator for a short -term contract (12 weeks)

Role purpose

  • To ensure that staff have the computing equipment they need when they need it,
  • To support the work of the Technology function at Refuge

Main duties are :

  • Arranging the dispatch and pickup of mobile phones and laptops for our remote workforce, communicating with them to make sure that they are aware of when things will be arriving and understand how the couriers work
  • Updating phone and laptop inventories, through Vodafone’s portal and MS Intune to ensure that we keep a good record of where equipment is and to whom it has been issued
  • Compiling invoices for approval so that I can easily go through them and authorise them
  • Monitoring the techmanagement mailbox and dealing with queries, escalating when unsure
  • Liaising between suppliers and colleagues regarding equipment, printer and broadband orders
  • Project work, particularly helping to sort out our telephony and printer estates - a lot of chasing and trying to find things
  • Other reasonable tasks supporting me and the technology function as may be required

Skills:

  • Good verbal and written communication in English
  • Well organised person who is self-motivated
  • Kind and friendly manner, good at dealing with colleagues who may be having a frustrating time
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Familiarity with Outlook, and using computerised tools

The role is 30 hours a week and will require you to be in the office for a minimum of 3 times a week.
