Our client is a London-based MP who advocates against social injustice and works to improve the lives of their constituents.

An Office manager role has arisen in the constituency office, managing the workload of a small team of case workers and an administrator. Duties will include:

responsibility. This is a full-time and permanent role based in her constituency office, with one day working from home and which will encompass a broad remit, ensuring that all HR and administrative processes are run efficiently, enabling the MP to work on the broader political strategies.

This role will have full control of the office budget, finding efficiencies where appropriate and building relationships with suppliers. You will keep up to date HR records, ensuring that there are no gaps in knowledge and sourcing extra training and dealing with any payroll queries.

You will have control of the MP's diary, liaising on a daily basis with a wide range of stakeholders including constituents and the House of Commons. This role will organise appointments for the MP's surgery on a Friday, bringing high levels of customer service to all communication.

This is a varied and rewarding Office manager opportunity for someone with relevant experience in or interest in politics. People management skills are essential, as is Office management experience.
