Office Manager

As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment and supporting our employees. This job role will also have a variety of administrative tasks so requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role is predominantly based in our London office, however, requires travel to our Reading office once a week.

Key Duties Include:

Office Management:

  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and mail distribution.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
  • Manage office supply inventory and order as needed.
  • Coordinate office equipment purchases and maintenance.

Health and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement safety measures in the office.

Administrative Support:

  • Coordinate schedules and meetings for executives and team members.
  • Answer calls and assist visitors.
  • Plan team-building activities and company events.
  • Arrange logistics for conferences and off-site events.
  • Coordinate employee travel arrangements.
  • Assist in developing and managing the office budget.

Employee Onboarding and HR:

  • Assist in on boarding new employees.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance.
  • Handle employee inquiries on HR matters.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office).
  • Knowledge of HR practices and compliance is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
