Our client a leading Financial Services Company is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join the team. The Office Manager will be supporting Senior Management to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities for the wider team.

We are seeking a resilient, well-organised, detail-oriented self-starter, with prior experience in the financial services industry. The successful candidates will work in a vibrant, energetic and supportive team of 95 + people.

This role is fully office-based in a modern office in the heart of the West End.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the diary and ensuring meetings are organised and rooms booked as required
  • Greet visitors warmly, ensure they feel welcome, and direct them to the appropriate person or meeting room.
  • Make and serve refreshments to visitors, ensuring they are comfortable during their stay.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
  • Manage office supplies and be responsible for ordering stationery
  • Ensure the office is well stocked for stationery, tea, coffee, milk etc
  • Organising the signing, scanning & posting of legal documentation
  • Scheduling and planning future engagements
  • Act as key point of contact to the team & being a true gate-keeper
  • To organise and plan meetings for external stakeholders and client meetings
  • Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required

Skills

  • Experience working in professional or corporate environments a bonus but not essential
  • Providing a high-quality of work, with a proactive attitude
  • Warm and personable attitude
  • Being able to work at pace with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Articulate with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with all MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, Adobe & PowerPoint
  • Able to deal with challenging clients or customers
  • Self-motivated
  • Professional discretion & high-level confidentiality
  • Ability to take ownership of all tasks, following up on outstanding items
