Role: Office ManagerWorking Pattern: Hybrid WorkingLocation: Central LondonSalary: Up to £60k (DOE)We are recruiting for a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Manager to join a non-profit organisation specialising in Art, based in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about the Art and Charitable industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management, administration, and a flair for creativity, with the ability to multitask and work independently.Travel internationally is a must, including to exhibitions and art fairs in Europe and Asia, therefore please only apply if you are happy with this aspect of the position.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the organisation of exhibitions, artist talks, book launches, and other gallery events.
  • Travel to exhibitions and art fairs in Europe and Asia to represent the gallery, meet artists, and participate in gallery book launches and presentations.
  • Support marketing efforts, including social media updates, website content, and email newsletters.
  • Maintain relationships with artists, collectors, and industry professionals.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and maintenance needs.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls, responding to inquiries professionally.
  • Maintain records, databases, and filing systems for exhibitions, sales, and client information.
  • Carry out basic bookkeeping tasks, including processing invoices and expenses, liaising with the accountants, and tracking expenditure against the budget.
  • Support sales and client engagement by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Maintain inventory records and liaise with shipping partners for artwork handling and deliveries.
  • Ensure the gallery space is well-maintained, presentable, and welcoming.
Key Skills & Experience:The ideal candidate will have proven experience in office management, administration, or a similar role, with strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
