Title: Office Manager (SEN school)

Timings: 8:00am - 5pm Full time 5 days a week Monday - Friday.

Location: London

This role requires you to hit the ground running with managing the office of an SEN school. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of the whole school community which includes the parents, pupils and staff, by coordination the resources within the administration team. You will be responsible for the functioning of the school office ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing employee schedules and potential conflicts
  • Taking inventory of office supplies and order more if needed
  • Helping establish and maintain office procedures
  • Assisting senior management team when needed
  • Dealing with staff recruitment
  • Attending seminars and training
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • To set priorities and identify and implement best practices and organisational efficiencies.
  • To be responsible for any correspondence, reports and other information as requested by the Principal/SLT.
  • To deal with the mail, circulate and prioritise in terms of importance and urgency for the Principal.
  • Take responsibility for tasks and decisions from the Principal and manage and solve problems.

Requirements:

  • 1 year minimum experience working as a School Office Manager/Admin Manager/Reception Manager
  • Great communication skills
  • To be proactive
  • Being organised and having the ability to prioritise tasks dependant on their needs is essential for this role

It would be a benefit if you had:

  • An Enhanced DBS for children and adult workforce
  • An overseas police check (if you have lived or worked abroad in the last 5 years)
