Fram search are working with a global investment firm who are seeking an office manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual who wants a career in office management. Our client has strong growth plans and is looking for an Office manager who can adapt to different situations quickly, work alone but also as part of a team. The role is office based but once bedded in can work from home one day a week.  Some of the responsibility include :
  • General office reception duties, including answering telephones and handling client requests
  • Processing inbound/outbound mail and arranging courier services
  • Greeting visitors and coordinating in person or VC meetings; preparing meeting rooms and offering refreshments for visitors
  • Ordering weekly food for the office
  • Maintaining office inventory including stationery, business cards and equipment
  • Managing office budgets, expenses, credit card reconciliations and invoice payments
  • HR administration: tracking staff holidays, sickness and absences; on-boarding/off boarding, maintaining employee handbook
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • Building management: attending tenant meetings, reviewing service charges, coordinating maintenance
  • Assisting the Compliance Officer with regulatory deadlines and reporting
  • Booking travel and submitting employee expenses as needed
  • Planning team outings
An ideal candidate will have a few years office management experience within the financial services industry. Be proficient in Microsoft office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
