Role profile/Description:

Reporting to the Contract Manager / Contract Consultant, the primary function of the Supervisor is to manage the day-to-day 1st level support to the temporary workforce and Station Managers and Supervisors.

Acting as the interface between the Station supervisors and temporary workforce you will ensure maximum client satisfaction by monitoring and achieving Gate line compliance and managing staff sickness and absence to ensure all shifts are fulfilled. This role will help to drive and deliver on Client expectations and ensure they are exceededPay rate: £13phLocation: Hybrid role. Work from home and station visits.

Hours of work - based on a rotating roster.

    • Monday - Friday 0600-0900
    • Monday - Friday 1800-0000
    • Saturday & Sunday 0600-1500
    • Saturday & Sunday 1500-0000

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day responsibility of the Temporary workforce on the Account ensuring that we have enough staff to fulfil the business requirements given to us weekly.
  • Day to day responsibility of working with the Station supervisors to ensure that staff are on shift on time, in the correct Uniform and meeting the Gate line compliance.
  • Assisting the Contract Manager / Consultants with the onboarding of any new staff, such as arranging inductions, buddy shifts, uniform delivery and ensuring they are ready for work.
  • Supporting with Gate line training for any new staff members up and down the line, adding the staff to Planbition and adding to any staff trackers.
  • Monitoring Sickness & Absence through the Disciplinary process and assisting with issuing sending out Letter of concerns.
  • Processing any training pay due via the Payroll team once the worker has completed 5 shifts, and adding to the training tracker.
  • Ensuring the WhatsApp Groups are kept professional and any Managers added or removed where required.
  • Management of the whatsapp groups and Adecco task ID's
  • Follow starters / leavers process with Central Support Payroll once Scheduler advises you of any and arranging for any uniform and equipment to be collected from the worker.
  • Approving any online holiday requests that are submitted through the new holiday procedure.
  • Sending out any updated communications or timetable amendments to the workforce provided by SWR.
  • Where there is a shift unfilled and a reserve has already been utilised or not available, it is expected that the Supervisor on call will cover that shift and BAU duties will be passed to the next Supervisor on shift where not able to be completed.
  • Sending a detailed handover at the end of each shift to all Adecco team.
  • Managing the clock ins for all staff whilst they are on shift, clocking in where the worker is unable to do so themselves. Ensuring that the time is saved down correctly on Planbition and any lateness, sickness, handbacks are recorded accordingly.
  • Supporting with shift hand backs, unfilled shifts, open shifts, unconfirmed shifts.
  • Sending out Worked Hrs, Future Shifts report.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills to deal with staff and Managers at all levels
  • Good Organisational skills
  • Able to prioritise a busy workload
  • Enthusiastic and positive
  • Willing to travel within our Stations remit
  • Excellent Customer Service and influencing skills
  • A good knowledge of the microsoft products
  • Computer literate
