A thriving education establishment have an opening for a School Administrator to join their team. The School Administrator role involves liaising with supply agencies to ensure daily cover of supply staff across the school. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Enhanced DBS.

  • Hourly rate: Up to £16.50 P/H
  • 25 hours | 7am/7.30 am start to 12/12.30pm
  • Term time only - December start date
  • Ongoing role

School Administrator responsibilities:

  • Liaising with supply agencies when additional cover is required to ensure quality cover staff are provided to meet the needs of the school
  • Maintaining accurate records of staff absence/cover
  • Processing supply timesheets and agency invoices in a timely manner
  • Demonstrating flexibility to deal with urgent and unexpected changes to priorities
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team
  • Supporting senior staff to cover for the absence of the Cover Manager through organising the daily cover arrangements for absent teachers

School Administrator required skills/competencies:

  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required
  • Experience working within a school/educational setting desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in IT systems including good working knowledge of Excel and Word
