My client, a religious charitable organisation located in the West End, is seeking a Senior Administrator for a hybrid working role.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues to provide essential administrative support to the team and the Senior Governance Officer. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administrative Management: Oversee administrative functions in a professional and customer-focused manner to enhance the operations.
  • Team Leadership: Line manage and support with Office administrators, ensuring optimal resource utilisation, particularly during peak periods.
  • Ownership of Tasks: Take charge of specific work areas and processes, ensuring deadlines are met while demonstrating initiative and accountability for quality and timeliness.
  • Decision-Making: In the absence of senior colleagues, independently progress work and make operational decisions to meet deadlines.
  • Support for Governance: Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Governance Executive Officer across their responsibilities.
  • Meeting Coordination: Support meetings of panels and working groups by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and circulating documents, while also developing action plans.
  • Inbox Management: Manage the Office inbox, distributing messages and responding as necessary. Update databases in compliance with data protection regulations and process invoices and expense claims as needed.
