Immediate start. Experienced Office Manager, PA required to join our established client in what will initially be a 2-3 month temporary contract, with potential to move to a permanent position working on an exciting project for up to 5 years. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, the role is fully on site, and flexibility is essential to start earlier when required. Salary is up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be well presented, possess a positive, self-motivated attitude, with exceptional organisational skills, experienced in arranging travel, and with a high level of confidentiality. Experience dealing with site construction teams are desirable.

Duties:

  • Implement and maintain procedures and office administrative tasks
  • Assist with on-boarding new staff
  • Assist team with calendar management and expenses
  • Provide PA support, arranging travel, meetings and appointments
  • Supervision of office administrative staff, including reception
  • Port of call for client requests
  • Set up board meetings
  • Administer the management of the team holiday records
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Ensure all items are invoiced and paid on time
  • Maintain all office supplies

Experience required:

  • Previous office management, PA experience
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Construction industry experience is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
