Student Office Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for inquiries within the Student Office, offering support to staff, students, and visitors
  • Supporting the Senior Student Office Administrator with timetabling, mark sheets, student records, assessment and examination administration
  • Maintaining accurate databases and record-keeping systems, liaising with other departments as required
  • Running weekly reports to ensure all students are registered on the correct modules and have access to all systems
  • Attending a bi-weekly Teaching Operation Meeting and other general meetings when required and producing well drafted Minutes
  • Assisting with other ad hoc administrative duties in order to support the team and wider university

Student Office Administrator Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in higher education administration, particularly in a student-facing role showing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organisation and time management
  • A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving who is eager to assist and capable of handling multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Highly proficient IT skills including a confidence with the use of Excel for data management
