Seeking a Communications Coordinator to join a thriving communications team and support across the smooth running for all aspects of external & internal communications.

Description

Reporting to a Communications Manager the Communications Coordinator will support activity across the whole team in these areas:

  • provide a full support service including management of internal and external in boxes, ensuring queries are dealt with quickly and effectively while adopting a customer service approach
  • maintain and update a range of communications systems and databases, including correspondence trackers, team calendars and schedules
  • provide basic content management support across a range of internal and external communications channels
  • draft and schedule approved social media content
  • assist with coordination of communications events and engagement activities
  • ensure accurate document and information management
  • manage purchase orders and invoicing for the Communications team
  • assist with compiling the team's performance/analytics reporting

Profile

The candidate that secures this Communications Coordinator role will be able to evidence the following skills and knowledge:

  • Proven track record in supporting a communications team
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal is essential
  • Has some knowledge of event management both internal and external
  • Enjoys copy writing and editing
  • Superb working knowledge of MS Office and CMS systems
  • This role is a remote based contract, but will involve potential travel to London and other UK locations.

Job Offer

  • Salary of up to £35,000 depending on suitability and knowledge.
