Job Summary:

My client, who is a world-renowned giant is looking for a Social Media Manager with significant experience supporting best-in-class Editorial Content and campaigns for major brands. The ideal candidate is genuinely passionate about Entertainment and has a deep understanding of what content resonates across the Social Media landscape. You stay curious, humble, and open-minded, and have experience crafting emotional stories that people connect with. You have a ruthlessly high bar for Creative output, and you're able to seamlessly switch between 'doing it yourself' and 'sprinkling magic dust' on agency work. You're comfortable using data to test and refine your output, as well as prove impact.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Manage and improve editorial content optimized for each of their PV social channels (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and further to launch) in the UK
  • Manage and support social campaigns for local launches in the UK
  • Manage and support social campaign for their global titles in the UK
  • Collaborate with Campaign Development, PR, Studios and other internal departments
  • Collaborate with external partners such as production companies, agencies, etc.
  • Support Creator activations in the UK
  • Collaborate with EU counterparts on key projects and work streams improving Social operations
  • Monitor, evaluate and report Social performance data, informing UK PV's Editorial strategy and campaign management
  • Availability to travel within the UK and EU (e.g. EU Social Summits, Social shootings in the UK, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Extensive proven experience in developing and managing Social channels and campaigns of significant scale for brands with success in driving earned media
  • Experience in using data and metrics to measure and report impact and shape action plans
  • Experience in creating engaging Social content
  • Agency steering experience
  • Extensive know-how about the ever-changing Social Media landscape

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Entertainment experience
  • Deep knowledge of Pop Culture/Movies/TV/Music
  • Editorial experience in digital publishing world
  • Experience with paid Social Media
