A tangible asset ownership firm and retail business is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to build and implement their organic social media strategy across multiple platforms. This role is pivotal in driving education about their services and products, enhancing brand consideration, and fostering trust amongst their customer base.
This role is based in their City of London offices (1 day a week the company works from home, currently on a Tuesday). The role is paying up to £40,000 plus benefits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute an organic social media strategy tailored to the consumer goods business.
- Manage and grow our presence on primary channels (Meta: Facebook and Instagram) and plan for expansion into Linkedln, TikTok, and WhatsApp.
- Refresh and optimise our YouTube channel to enhance brand consideration and thought leadership.
- Initiate new social media platforms that support the growth and amplification of the business.
- Capture, edit, and produce high-quality, visually appealing content that aligns with the company’s brand aesthetics and is native to each platform.
- Write compelling copy for posts, ensuring consistency in voice and messaging across all channels.
- Schedule and post content using social media management tools (i.e. Later)
- Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and manage Trustpilot and Google Reviews, addressing feedback and fostering positive relationships with customers.
- Manage relationships with video content capture agencies, including writing briefs, directing content creation, and ensuring alignment with the company’s brand guidelines.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPls) to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies.
Core Requirements:
- Significant experience in social media management. Luxury goods or investment sectors are desirable!
- Strong skills in photography and/or videography, and graphic design. Proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- In-depth knowledge of Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and experience with emerging platforms (Linkedln, TikTok, WhatsApp).
- Ability to interpret social media metrics and use data-driven insights to inform strategy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment and able to pivot strategies based on changing trends and feedback. This environment requires you to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in!
