Package Manager
Currently recruiting a Package Manager for a Tier 1 Contractor who will be working on a major project in Old Oak Common Station in Northwest London. A successful Package Manager will be tasked with the delivery of six underground platforms as well as up to eight platforms.
About the role of a Package Manager
Our client is looking to hire a Package Manager, who has prior, and relatively, good knowledge with highways, utility diversions, temporary works, and heavy civil engineering works.
Responsibilities for a Package Manager
The candidate who is successful following the hiring process, will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all health and safety practices are monitored and adhered to effectively and correctly and implemented at all stages of the project
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project
- Reviewing of Contractor documentation and be an integral part of approval processes
- Identifying threats and opportunities, which can lead to raising EWN's and or compensation events
- Procuring and delivering ground reduction works
- Allocate tasks to site engineers and supervise the completion of these tasks
- Procuring and delivering the site establishment
Requirements for a Package Manager
A competent and standout Package Manager will be able to demonstrate:
- A clear history of working as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent on major infrastructure project(s)
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of utilities and drainage
- A Degree/Qualification in Civil Engineering
- Temporary works concepts and procedure implementation
