Are you a experienced Package Manager with a background delivering high-end, complex projects? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where meticulous attention to detail is key?

Randstad have partnered with one of our key clients to find a Package Manager to join the team on a prestigious 100 million hotel refurbishment and fit-out project.

Applicants must have a proven track record in managing complex, high-value projects within the commercial build sector managing all elements within a section of a project e.g. Production, Commercial, Design & Planning.

The Role/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple packages within a construction project. This includes coordinating various trades, ensuring timely completion, and achieving project goals within budget.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for assigned packages. Track expenses, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee a team of contractors and sub-contractors. Build strong relationships, maintain clear communication, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, building regulations, and quality control standards. Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure projects meet client expectations
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks. Implement solutions to prevent delays, cost overruns, or safety issues.
  • Regularly report project progress and key decisions to the project team. Ensure transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing complex packages within large-scale construction projects. Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • A deep understanding of construction processes, technical specifications, and building regulations. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams. Experience fostering collaboration, communication, and a results-oriented work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience working with budgets and demonstrating a commitment to cost-effective solutions. Proven ability to manage finances and make sound financial decisions.
