About the Role:
As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in site setup and project execution, supported by a highly skilled operational team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and professional teams.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Identifying risks and opportunities within each work package by thoroughly understanding its scope.
- Team Leadership: Clearly defining roles and responsibilities, mobilising sub-contractors, and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Health & Safety: Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards in line with project and company policies.
- Project Support: Assisting the Project Manager in managing complex, time-constrained works and collaborating with the design team during workshops.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
- A SMSTS qualification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
- Proven experience managing multiple large packages of work.
- Detailed knowledge of construction methodology, processes, and inherent safety practices.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead and inspire your team.
