Job Description:
We are looking for experienced and reliable7.5 Tonne Driversto join our agency forad-hoc assignmentsacross West London. The role will involve working with a variety of clients, covering shifts at short notice, providing flexibility in your work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for multi-drop or single-drop deliveries.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients.
- Follow all relevant health and safety regulations and road laws.
- Complete vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is in good working order before each shift.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment when necessary.
- Communicate with the agency and clients to manage delivery schedules and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement (7.5 tonne).
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
- Proven experience as a 7.5 tonne driver.
- A good understanding of road safety, regulations, and local routes.
- Flexibility to accept ad-hoc shifts at short notice.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to handle physical work, including loading and unloading when required.
