We are seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join our wonderful client in the SW19 area. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our school’s administrative functions, particularly in managing the Annual Reviews and Free School Meals administration. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proficient in managing multiple tasks, and possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with parents, staff, and external professionals.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the production and updates of the yearly Review Schedule.
  • Handle the production and distribution of Annual Review invitations within statutory timeframes.
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and external professionals to coordinate and reschedule review dates as needed.
  • Arrange interpreter services for reviews and manage related logistics and documentation.
  • Oversee the collation and dispatch of pre-Annual Review reports and follow up on missing reports.
  • Attend EHCP Annual Reviews, facilitate discussions, and take detailed notes.
  • Manage post-meeting actions and ensure timely production and circulation of post-Annual Review paperwork.
  • Administer the process for Free School Meals, including eligibility checks and maintaining accurate records on the school information management system (SIMS).
  • Distribute, collate, and analyse feedback from annual questionnaires to parents and professionals to inform school leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using school information management systems (SIMS) and standard office software (desirable) 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and taking comprehensive notes.
