We are looking for someone with:

  • A clear, enhanced DBS
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record
  • Reception experience, ideally in a school
  • Good admin skills and an excellent telephone manner
  • The ability to think on their feet and use initiative
  • A team player who is a quick learner and discrete

In this role, you will:

  • Provide an efficient receptionist/switchboard service, interacting with all visitors promptly and courteously.
  • Uphold safeguarding principles by ensuring all visitors have the necessary documentation.
  • Welcome visitors, staff, parents, and students in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Maintain a tidy reception area and assist with general administrative support.
  • Operate the academy switchboard, deal with calls efficiently, and ensure messages are transmitted accurately.
  • Assist with deliveries, manage the reception cover rota, and draft student references.
