- Developing engaging and compelling content for various communication channels, including newsletters, social media, website, and press releases
- Collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to highlight research, achievements, and events
- Managing and curating content for the university's social media platforms
- Drafting and distributing press releases and coordinating media coverage for university events
- Facilitating internal communication initiatives to ensure information is effectively shared across departments and teams
- Assisting in the development of internal newsletters and announcements
- Coordinating communication strategies to promote university events, conferences, and initiatives
- Collaborating with event organisers to ensure effective promotion before, during, and after events
- Ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging in all communication materials
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of the university's brand identity
- Holding a higher education certificate is preferred but not essential for this role
- Minimum 1.5 – 3 years of communications experience
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Well-versed in fundraising for institutions and has strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent IT skills
