Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Anti-Social Behaviour and Nuisance Investigator to join their Community Safety & Corporate Resilience team. This role involves leading investigations into anti-social behaviour (ASB) and nuisance cases, ensuring effective action is taken to resolve issues within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage investigations related to ASB, collaborating with various internal and external partners, including housing services and law enforcement.
- Utilise a range of interventions and enforcement powers to address crime and nuisance behaviours effectively.
- Gather evidence and prepare detailed case files for legal proceedings, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Engage with residents, businesses, and service users to develop effective solutions and support victims of ASB.
- Conduct assessments and respond to service requests related to ASB and noise nuisance, including out-of-hours work as needed.
- Chair multi-agency meetings to discuss and review action plans aimed at reducing ASB in targeted areas.
Skills and Experience Required:
- In-depth knowledge of anti-social behaviour legislation, including civil and criminal proceedings.
- Proven experience in investigating ASB or related crime, with a track record of compiling legal case files and providing evidence in court.
- Familiarity with the operation of IT systems, including case management and reporting tools.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to draught clear, concise reports and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Additional Information:
