You will be responsible for actively managing a caseload of ASB & tenancy fraud matters, investigating, and taking appropriate action against perpetrators. You'll prepare relevant legal paperwork for cases including injunctions, possession, and access, as well as represent the organisation at court hearings where required. You'll work closely with witnesses, victims, and perpetrators of ASB, drafting statements & collecting evidence should legal action be required, and work in partnership with various stakeholders such as the Police, Social Services, and the Local Authority to improve neighbourhoods in the area.

Your new role

* Act on reports of Anti-Social Behaviour following the agreed procedure.

* Support ASB complainants throughout the processing of their complaint.

* Issuing Community Protection Warnings, Community Protection Notices, Notice of Seeking Possession, and Injunctions (Tenancy Agreement breaches).

* Production of Housing Management and Witness Statements.

* Effective monitoring and recovery of arrears of rent, following the agreed procedure, by carrying out interviews with tenants in the home and in the Council's offices, sending correspondence by phone, letter, email, and text messages from the start of Rent Arrears Action 1 to eviction and recovery of property where necessary.

* Work with other organisations and departments, such as Housing Benefit and support agencies, to resolve outstanding arrears cases.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for the role, you'll need a good knowledge and understanding of current Housing, ASB & Enforcement Legislations and have at least 6 months' experience in managing, investigating, and resolving ASB/Tenancy breach cases within a housing setting. You'll also have experience in the preparation of witness statements, court applications, court attendance and self-representation.
