Job Title: Arrears Monitoring and Repossession Coordinator

Contract Details: Temporary
Salary: £20.74 - £25 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality income maximisation and arrears reduction services.
- Monitor rent accounts and take recovery steps when necessary.
- Offer support and advice to residents facing financial difficulties.
- Negotiate repayment arrangements and manage casework effectively.
- Attend court hearings and prepare necessary documentation.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Knowledge of housing legislation and welfare reform.
- Experience in a housing environment and handling vulnerable clients.
- Strong customer service, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and strong numerical skills.
- Proficient IT skills and casework experience.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Familiarity with the Northgate Housing system or similar databases.
- Understanding of performance measurement systems in housing.
- Experience working with diverse communities and addressing sensitive issues.

- Northgate Housing system
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Other housing management software
