Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate BACP Accredited Counsellor to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to help them navigate a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored counselling plans.
Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients dealing with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and more.
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, adapting them to meet the unique needs of each client.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, participating in case discussions and contributing to holistic care strategies.
Engage in regular supervision and continuing professional development (CPD) to enhance your practice.
Uphold the ethical guidelines and standards set by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Qualifications and Experience:
Accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
A recognized qualification in counselling or psychotherapy.
Proven experience in providing counselling services within a clinical, community, or private practice setting.
Strong understanding of various therapeutic approaches and the ability to adapt them to client needs.
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
