Job Description: Bariatric Dietitian

Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bariatric Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients undergoing bariatric surgery and those requiring medical weight management. This role involves conducting assessments, developing personalized nutrition plans, providing education, and supporting patients in achieving their health and weight goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Patient Assessment and Counseling:

    • Conduct detailed nutritional assessments for bariatric patients pre- and post-surgery.
    • Develop individualized nutrition plans tailored to each patient’s health status, surgery type, and lifestyle.
    • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  2. Education and Support:

    • Provide one-on-one and group education sessions on nutrition, meal planning, and lifestyle changes.
    • Prepare patients for surgery by explaining preoperative and postoperative dietary requirements.
    • Offer continuous support to help patients navigate the psychological and physiological challenges associated with weight management and bariatric surgery.
