Behaviour Mentor - Supporting SEN Students in Deptford

A vibrant primary school in Deptford is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their SEN Unit, working with primary-aged children across mixed age groups. This specialised role focuses on supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and helping them regulate emotions, build confidence, and thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Behaviour Mentor:
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with Autism, focusing on behaviour management and emotional regulation.
  • Develop positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and build trust.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN professionals to implement behaviour plans tailored to each child's needs.
