Behaviour Mentor - The Role

Full-time Behaviour Mentor supporting a Year 4 pupil 1:1 with SEMH needs.
Implement tailored behaviour strategies to keep the child engaged and motivated.
Build a strong and positive relationship to boost confidence and encourage progress.
Work closely with the SENDCo, class teacher, and pastoral team to create a supportive environment.
Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm, structured, and proactive way.

Behaviour Mentor - About You

Previous SEN/SEMH experience - essential for this Behaviour Mentor role.
Confident in supporting challenging behaviour with a patient and resilient approach.
Able to build trusting relationships with children and create a safe, structured environment.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and emotional regulation strategies.
Experience in a school-based support role is highly desirable.
