This role is essential in ensuring our premises not only meet health and safety standards but also provide a pleasant atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.
Day-to-day of the role:- Perform routine cleaning tasks according to the established schedule, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Safeguard equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
- Report any damages, deficits, and disturbances to management.
- Handle reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Manage stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and be aware of any company-related practices.
- Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with material safety data sheets.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
