Complex ASD TA- Newham, East London

***Complex ASD TA - ASAP Start***

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a Complex ASD TA for students with Complex autism. They are based in a lovely secondary school in Newham, East London

The role

Wiithin this role you will be working 1 -1 with students who have Svere - High functioning autism, you will be supporing them in a class setting along with the teacher and othe TA's, your main repsonsibility is to keep the stdunets calm, engaged and happy throughout the day. You will deal with outburts, dirsuptions, bad behaiour and Personal care.

You will be the repsonsible for one child folloing there EHCP closely and using pecs and other visual aids to help them throughout the day.

The Position is a full-time position starting immediately up until the end of the academic year, this role could go on for the following year if all goes successfully. The school has excellent transport links and a car park if you do drive.

Suitability

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with severe SEN and complex needs and/or any skills such as Makaton, PECS, Team Teach, Restraint Training etc.
