Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Are you passionate about education and looking for an exciting opportunity to work in schools in Hackney? We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for an immediate start to join our team, supporting secondary schools by ensuring high-quality teaching and learning continue in the absence of the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising classes across various subjects, ensuring students stay on task with the pre-set work.
- Managing the behavior of students to create a positive learning environment.
- Supporting individual students or groups during lessons, as required.
- Assisting with administrative tasks and other school duties when needed.
- Providing feedback to teachers on students' progress and behavior.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- Confidence in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a productive learning atmosphere.
- A proactive and flexible approach to cover a variety of subjects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A genuine interest in working with secondary school students.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of the school environment.
