Salary: £95 - £130 per day

Are you ready to take on a rewarding role in education? GSL Education London Branch are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic team at one of the client secondary schools in South East London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Cover Supervisor to support students and ensure the smooth running of lessons in the absence of regular teachers.
Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support the teaching and learning of various subjects across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Provide assistance to students with their work and answer any questions they may have.
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements of a Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to support students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
