Milk Education is recruiting for enthusiastic and flexible Day-to-Day Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Haringey. If you're an experienced teacher or an early career teacher (ECT) looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule, this is the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a variety of schools and classrooms.

As a Day-to-Day Supply Teacher, you will be required to cover short-term absences and provide high-quality teaching to students of various ages and abilities. You’ll have the chance to work in a variety of school settings, helping to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Supporting students of all abilities to stay on task and engage with their learning.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and reporting back to the class teacher or school leadership team.
  • Adapting lessons to suit the specific needs of students and ensuring inclusion for all.
  • Building positive relationships with students, staff, and school leadership.
  • Promoting a positive classroom culture and supporting students with their social, emotional, and academic development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching across primary age groups is desirable.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to step into different schools and classrooms.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting students to achieve their best.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative while adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with school staff and students.
