Job Title: Developer Contributions Principal Planner
Location: East London
Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: £28.56 - £35.80 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Lead the developer contributions (S106 and CIL) work programme
- Administer and review the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
- Negotiate and administer s106 and CIL receipts
- Develop policies, procedures, and guidance notes for planning obligations
- Provide specialist technical advice to stakeholders
- Represent the organisation on corporate working parties and decision-making structures
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Comprehensive knowledge of Town and Country Planning Act and legislation
- Degree in Town Planning or related field
- Experience in spatial planning or related discipline
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Membership of the RTPI or RICS
- Experience in economic viability and planning policy
- Supervisory or line management experience
Technologies: IT systems, business systems/process solutions
