Finance Transformation and Transition Manager | 12+ months | London- Hybrid | £700 per day (Inside IR35)

For a complex, global organisation, we're recruiting a Finance Transformation and Transition Manager to lead the transfer of finance activities for a centre of excellence and drive the associated finance transformation. This is a key role for the next 12 - 18 months in ensuring all processes, systems and responsibilities are transitioned, and that strategic initiatives to transform the finance function are embedded for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

Main Duties:

  • Transition Planning and Execution - develop a change map outlining activities, timelines, dependencies and resources required to transition finance activities from current to target state, gaining alignment and buy-in from all stakeholders
  • Lead the execution of the change plan, managing activities, issues, and mitigating risks to ensure delivery to time and budget
  • Develop and manage change management and communication strategies
  • Communicate transition plans, progress updates, and key milestones to stakeholders
  • Address stakeholder concerns and resistance to change
  • Process Optimisation and Standardisation - collaborate with Global Process Owners to identify areas for process optimisation and effectiveness
  • Technology Integration and Innovation - Partner with IT to ensure integration of technology solutions to support the transition and explore solutions to automate manual processes, improve data accuracy and enable data-drive decision-making within Finance
  • Performance Reporting - establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the progress and effectiveness o the transition activities
  • Provide regular dashboards and reporting of performance against targets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to completer post-implementation reviews and lessons learnt

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in leading complex transition and transformation initiatives within Finance, and across a multi-national and shared services environment
  • Track-record of developing and executing comprehensive transition plans
  • Track-record of leading and motivating teams to drive change
  • Experience in integrating technology solutions to support finance transformation objectives
  • Track-record in facilitating change management strategics
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, systems and best practices
  • Strong experience of process optimisation, standardization and automation
  • Strong experience in change management methodologies and tools
  • Proven track record in driving cultural change, and building a change - ready organisation
