Job Description:

We’re looking for a leader who is enthusiastic about the council’s ambition to deliver against the challenges, missions and aspirations outlined within 'We Make Camden’. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated officer with a demonstrable commitment towards establishing and maintaining high CCTV standards and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will also possess emergency planning expertise and provide strategic leadership in relation to better use of CCTV to enhance resilience.

The post holder will also be required to:

1. Lead the service area and communicate effectively with senior leaders to influence future policy and strategic direction.

2. Show pride and passion for public service and be able to create and engage others in delivering a shared vision.

3. Form effective partnerships both internally and externally, sharing information, resources and support.

4. Utilise excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to use evidence and knowledge to support accurate, expert decisions and advice, and understand how this role fits in with and supports organisational objectives.

5. Work flexibly at different hours as required.
