Head of HR Systems (Itrent)

We are seeking a Head of HR Systems to maintain and develop all aspects of our Itrent HR System and manage two Data Analysts. This role ensures that operational, strategic, and statutory requirements are efficiently met.

Main Duties:

  1. Provide high-quality leadership to the HR Systems team, enhancing team reputation and credibility.
  2. Build strong relationships with senior managers and external stakeholders, representing the HR Systems team.
  3. Lead and manage HR Systems team members, including recruitment, workload management, and professional development.
  4. Serve as the overall system administrator for the HR/Payroll System, managing supplier relationships and system performance.
  5. Oversee HR Systems and liaise with ICT Managers regarding interfaces and service arrangements, leading system developments.
  6. Represent Systems and Processes in the HR Management Team, contributing to financial and logistical processes.
  7. Lead the preparation of annual HESA data submissions and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  8. Maintain data integrity on HR systems, ensuring accuracy across organisational systems.
  9. Provide regular business intelligence reporting and analysis to support effective workforce planning.
  10. Manage the setup of new HR Department joiners and conduct regular auditing of security access.
  11. Ensure the Business-as-usual integrity of HR systems, maintaining system documentation and user guides.
  12. Provide training, advice, and support for HR staff on HR systems.
  13. Ensure HR systems and data comply with GDPR and information security requirements.
  14. Act as the lead HR Systems contact for internal and external audits.
  15. Oversee the web and intranet presence for HR information.
  16. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of HR/Payroll Systems and advise on best practices.
