A History & RE Teacher is needed in an All-Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This History & RE Teacher role will be full time and if appointed, you would need to be able to commit from the 22nd of April to Friday the 18th of July.

Teaching for this History & RE Teacher role post will be for KS3 to KS5 History and KS3 RE classes.

If you're a History & RE Teacher with no experience of teaching A Level, the team can consider you for KS3 to KS4 lessons only.

Experience of teaching the Edexcel syllabus for History would be advantageous for this History & RE Teacher position but is not essential in order to be considered.

The rates of pay for this History & RE Teacher role will be between 160 and 300 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

A 'Good' All-Boys Secondary School & Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

They have a rich and extensive tradition when it comes to Sport and STEM.

Many professional sportsmen have studied at the school.

There is a Gifted and Talented programme at the school which provides support to the top 5 - 10% of pupils in each year group.

Each department organises trips and runs extracurricular activities to establish an environment of inclusion.

In addition to this, the school has received several awards such as Healthy Schools, Education Business Partnership, FA Charter Standard and Sport England.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified History & RE Teacher or experienced History & RE Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained History & RE Teacher or overseas trained History & RE Teacher.

* UK QTS or equivalent
* Right to work in the UK
* Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
* Experience as a History & RE Teacher in UK schools
