We are seeking a dedicated HR Team Leader to manage a team within the Employee Administration function, supporting high-quality, customer-focused HR administrative services across various departments. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
As an HR Team Leader, you will act as the main point of escalation for the team, offering guidance on day-to-day issues and ensuring the seamless execution of HR administrative processes. You will also play a key role in maintaining compliance with employment legislation, including UKVI requirements, DBS checks, and data security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Team Management
- Oversee the delivery of a high-quality HR administration service by coordinating workloads and ensuring timely, accurate processing of HR tasks.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for the team, resolving complex queries and providing technical advice.
- Mentor and guide team members, conducting regular performance reviews, identifying training needs, and supporting professional development.
Administrative Excellence
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including UKVI regulations, DBS checks, and data security policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records in line with internal and external policies.
- Generate and analyse reports to monitor team performance and provide insights to leadership.
Collaborative Working
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure an excellent employee and customer experience.
- Contribute to HR project work, supporting the delivery of organisational objectives.
Service Improvement
- Act as a subject matter expert for HR administration processes, policies, and systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR and payroll processes by identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance and Data Security
- Ensure records and processes meet legislative requirements, conducting regular audits and escalating issues as necessary.
