HR AdministratorLocation: Mailbox, BirminghamLength: Start Date: 10/02/2025 End Date: 31/03/2025Rate: £13.00 - £15:00 p/h (Inside IR35)Hours: 35 hours per week (2 days in office per week)Role Overview:This is a business support role which is part of a team providing administrative services to the rest of Our Client.  HR Administrators will be part of a shared service entity that will provide overall support to the workforce.  Deliver administrative services and processing activity to the workforce. This includes providing information, managing data, and completing process delivery and administrative assistance to all employees, following clearly defined processes, in line with pre-defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Key Job Responsibilities:
  • To provide HR administrative service to employees, following clearly defined processes, in line with defined SLAs
  • Ability to use systems, entering data into relevant systems and ensuring data quality
  • To ensure that administrative processes are undertaken in line with policy e.g. right to work
  • To provide accurate and timely responses and communication with the workforce, responding to queries and requests as appropriate
  • To accurately maintain data and personnel files, ensuring confidentiality
  • To provide answers with assurance based on data and understanding of policy and process
  • To open (physical) correspondence and scan/record relevant materials
  • To prepare and send (physical) correspondence required to complete processes in an accurate and timely fashion
  • To work in partnership with colleagues to deliver good service
  • To produce Management Information (MI) reports and data from relevant systems to answer queries
Essential Skills:
  • Basic computing and telephony skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ensures facts are correct, complete, and consistent
  • Effective administrative skills
  • Uses standard procedures and common sense to solve problems
  • Understands how to handle, resolve, and escalate inquiries; passes on information promptly
  • Understands how to work effectively in a team to deliver a good service
Desirable:
  • Prior experience of working with People systems (such as SAP)
  • Prior experience working in a shared service environment
