Humanities Teacher - Wandsworth
Fixed-Term Role - January 2025 Start until the End of the Academic Year (Thursdays and Fridays)
TimePlan Education is excited to be recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach History and Religious Studies at Key Stage 3, with the possibility of covering some Geography, in a supportive and welcoming school environment.
About the Role:
This is a temporary role starting in January 2025 and running until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in History, Religious Studies, and potentially Geography.
- Planning and marking lessons in line with the curriculum and school expectations.
- Inspiring students to develop a passion for Humanities subjects.
- Supporting the school's ethos and values and contributing positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3 (History and Religious Studies essential; Geography desirable).
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
- Be committed to supporting the school's vision and values.
